March 12, 2025 – Lisbon, PT // Syone was invited by NOVA IMS – School of Information Management and Data Science of the Nova University of Lisbon to present their AI-powered framework and successful implementation at Mota-Engil Global at their prestigious Information Systems Seminar.

The Seminar, open to students from all three academic cycles at NOVA IMS and the general public, attracted around 70 participants eager to explore real-world applications of cutting-edge IT solutions, like ezSearch.

Eduardo Taborda, CEO of Syone, led the presentation. He provided an insightful introduction to Syone’s expertise in open-source solutions and its role in delivering digital transformation projects across industries. He then introduced ezSearch, an advanced search and knowledge management framework designed to optimize data accessibility and retrieval.

Mota-Engil, a key player in the global construction and infrastructure industry, operating in 21 countries, faced challenges related to managing vast amounts of unstructured information. Their existing knowledge management platform struggled with:
