Syone supports Hack For Good Initiative, powered by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation
Syone is sponsoring Hack for Good 2017 initiative, a hackathon whose mission is to put technology at the service of society.
This event powered by Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, had a first edition last year with the aim to assist and create solutions to the ageing population issues. Under the theme ‘The refugees crisis’, this second edition’s mission is to create technological solutions to challenges faced by refugees and national organisations who support refugees.
The event will take place on June 24 and 25 and it’s expected to get together programmers, designers, engineers, managers and many others business professionals who will be continuously in touch with refugees and supporting organisations in order to better develop innovative solutions related to different topics: education, infrastructure, identity, inclusion and health.
Syone will contribute to the winners’ rewards and will be mentoring participants during the hackathon.
